PRESIDENT, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Walter joined Cary Street Partners in 2007 when Stewart

Wealth Management became part of Cary Street Partners. His

capabilities were quickly recognized as he was named branch

manager of the Fredericksburg branch of Cary Street Partners.

In 2015 he became the Chief Operating Officer and in 2022

he was named President of the firm. Even with his expanding

management roles, he has continued to maintain an active and

growing book of wealth management business.

Walter joined Stewart Wealth Management from Legg Mason

where he was a financial advisor. He began his career with

Southern States Cooperative after graduating from Virginia Tech

with a degree in Agricultural Economics.

As President of the firm, Walter leads the execution of the overall

daily operations and is responsible for executing the company’s

business plan with emphasis on integrity and compliance.

FINANCIAL ADVISOR, MANAGING DIRECTOR 

Andre joined Cary Street Partners in 2007 when Stewart Wealth

Management became part of Cary Street Partners. Prior to

becoming a financial advisor, he worked as an attorney for the

Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and the

Federal Election Commission.

Andre joined Stewart Wealth Management from Legg Mason

Wood Walker. He graduated from the University of Illinois at

Champaign-Urbana with a BA degree in Political Science and

History and received his Juris Doctorate from the Southern Illinois

University School of Law. He and his family are long- time residents

of the City of Fredericksburg and he has been active in many

charitable and civic-minded activities – both past and present.

CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE – REGISTERED, VICE PRESIDENT

Cheri brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services

industry, where she has held various client relations, operational,

and management positions. With her advanced conceptual and

problem-solving skills, Cheri provides operational advice and

assistance to our team's high net worth individuals.

Outside of work, Cheri is a devoted mother of four children and

happily married. She finds joy in her hobbies of line dancing and

boating, where she can relax and unwind.

With her wealth of experience, strong knowledge base, and

dedication to exceptional client service, Cheri is committed to

helping clients navigate the complexities of the financial world

and achieve their financial goals. She understands the unique

needs and challenges of our clients and strives to provide

personalized solutions and guidance to help them succeed.

CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE- ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT

Rachel joined the firm in 2018, and has excelled in providing

exceptional client service and support. Rachel provides

administrative help to Walter and Andre and is skilled in addressing

inquiries, working with clients to begin their investment planning,

and implementing new technology and operational solutions for

the team.

Rachel has her SIE certification and is working towards her series

7 and 66 licenses. She lives in Fredericksburg with her partner,

Wade, and their elderly Labrador, Tater Tot.

CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE- REGISTERED

Jack is a Client Service Associate at Cary Street Partners. He is

responsible for administrative duties and assists in all areas of

client service including opening new accounts, movement of funds,

and account maintenance. Jack is a recent graduate from Virginia

Tech’s CFP program and a previous Cary Street Partners Intern.

CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Kristen recently joined Cary Street Partners in January 2023 as

a Client Service Associate. She is responsible for administrative

duties and assists in all areas of client service including opening

new accounts, movement of funds, and account maintenance.

Kristen brings eight years of office management and client facing

experience to the team.

She and her fiancé, Michael, met at James Madison University

and recently moved to the area. They spend their weekends

exploring and enjoying all that Fredericksburg has to offer.
